The 2017 calendar is $10 and now available at the museum and will be available this fall at the following additional outlets: Pineville City Hall, Corner Cafe and More in Southwest City, Rags to Riches Flea Market in Anderson, and the Jane Store. Our Calendar Lady, Dorothy Beauchamp, will be selling them beginning October 1st to business owners throughout the county. A Unique, Little History of McDonald County Missouri by James Reed
These volumes tell the story of MCDonald County in a rather unique way, by letting the people of the times tell the story. The information herein was gleaned from the writer's colletion of the "Pineville News", and later the "Pineville Herald", published from 1883 to 1942 by Claiborne Duval, the writer's great-grandfather. Since the "News", and later "Herald", were published in Pineville, each volume will be most represented by PIneville. Volumes will have different mixes of towns represented, as writers drift away and others arrive to tell of their town and times.
