Leadership

Laurie Bennett, Director

My family moved to Rocky Comfort, MO in 1970, from Cleveland ,OH. (My maiden name was Leitch.) I was only 2 months old. I lived in that same house until I was around 18 years old, then moved to the property next door. I married Clinton "Gene" Bennett from Monett, MO in 1992. In 1998 we had our son, Jacob and in 2000 we had our daughter, Hailey. We still reside at the same location I move to at the age of 18. I am an active member of the Prosperity Southern Baptist Church in Rocky Comfort. In the past I have been active in the Rocky Comfort Redevelopment Committee. Due to an overwhelming schedule and a need to be more active with my family and other responsibilities, I have not been as active in the R.C.R.C., but I still try to show my support in all their efforts. I LOVE MY COMMUNITY!

In my spare time, I do research on the history of the community of Rocky Comfort. I love to talk to people who have lived here and has had much history in this small community. I feel we could all learn so much from the generations that have gone before us. It is exciting to meet people that are proud of their community!
