Professional Consultants

Chris Slinkard is a life-long resident of Pineville, Missouri with his wife Shawnna and daughter Mazie. His family’s history in McDonald County dates back to the mid 1800’s. He has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 10 years and has a practice located on the square in his home town of Pineville. Chris serves as Chairman of the City of Pineville Planning Committee and Vice President of the McDonald County Jaycees. He is also a member of the Anderson First Baptist Church, the Anderson Lodge 621 A F & A M, the Anderson Lions Club and participates in various civic and charitable activities in McDonald County. We are pleased to have Chris work with the Society and thank him for his contribution to the preservation of our County's history. Chris is responsible for assisting the Society in the establishment of our tax exempt 501-C-3 status.

Dana Moore Gray, ABD PhD, APR, is a marketing professor and consultant who has family roots in McDonald County. She will complete her PhD this summer from Oklahoma State University. She holds an MS in business from Oklahoma State University and a BA in communications from the University of Tulsa. She earned professional accreditation from the Public Relations Society of America in 1990. She has a passion for genealogy and is a cousin to Raylene Lamb, the Society's current president. We are pleased to have Dana donate her services to the Society and thank her for her on-going contribution to the preservation of our County's history. Dana is responsible for the creation and updates of the Society's website.
